The Future Camden Fund is a blended grant and repayable finance fund to support the growth of businesses and social enterprises delivering social value in Camden.

The Impact Management Programme aimed to build the capacity of charities and social enterprises to manage their impact – helping them increase their social impact and diversify their income.

New Philanthropy Capital (NPC) led the programme, working with a consortium of social sector organisations: Impetus-PEF, NCVO Charities Evaluation Services, Social Enterprise UK, Social Investment Business, Social Value UK and the Young Foundation, plus design studio Hactar.

A fund for social enterprises and charities experiencing disruption to their normal business model as a result of COVID-19. It was established in six weeks in April 2020 to make an existing government scheme – The Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Scheme (CBILS) – more easily accessible to charities and social enterprises.


A fund providing grants and support to charities and social enterprises to help them work out how social investment could help them become more sustainable, build their capacity and scale up to deliver greater social impact. 

The grants were used to help pay for specialist support from approved ‘providers’. All providers were individuals or organisations with specialist expertise that could provide technical, financial, legal, business or other support.

A pilot fund set up to help social ventures demonstrate and improve their social impact. The programme offered charities and social enterprises in England the opportunity to apply for either Impact Readiness or Impact Growth grants.

A fund offering grants to promising social ventures to better equip them to compete for public service contracts and secure other forms of investment.

This fund helped organisations run local services or take over the management of local buildings or land of community value. A range of grants were available to help with the process of taking over a service or an asset including pre-feasibility, feasibility and capital grants.

This fund gave loans and grants to social enterprises providing health and social care services in England. 

This fund offered grant and loan finance to community-focused organisations in England which provided local services and facilities.The remainder of Communitybuilders funds were endowed to SIB in 2011.

Futurebuilders was a ground-breaking, Government-backed, social investment fund that provided loan financing to social sector organisations in England to help them bid for, win and deliver public service contracts.

This fund offered a combination of financial investment and expert support to community enterprises to help them become sustainable.

The fund supported individuals, charities and social enterprises run by, or creating employment opportunities for ex-offenders and people in recovery from addiction. The fund offered loans, alongside business support from the fund partner The Forward Trust.
