Kate Stewart
Kate joined SIB as Youth Investment Director January 2025 to lead the team and Fund as the focus shifts from youth facilities construction to benefits for young people phase, ensuring YIF delivers maximum impact.
Passionate about tackling social inequities, Kate brings extensive experience in leading large-scale grant making and impact-driven programmes across the UK.
Before joining SIB, Kate was Director of Programmes & Impact at the London Community Foundation, where she oversaw a diverse portfolio of corporate, private, trust, and public sector funding addressing issues such as Violence Against Women & Girls and the cost of living crisis.
She previously held senior roles at Power to Change, UK Community Foundations (Fair Share Trust), and the Big Lottery Fund (now The National Lottery Community Fund), supporting communities and social enterprises through funding, capacity building, and innovative financing approaches.
