What is social investment?
Social investment is finance designed to help charities and social enterprises achieve their missions.
It works differently to traditional grants or commercial investment. With social investment, the money is repaid to the investor over time (often with interest), but the main focus is on achieving lasting social impact, not just financial return.
At its core, social investment is about supporting organisations to grow, become more sustainable, and deliver even greater value for the communities they serve.
