Amina Ahmad

Amina was appointed as a Non-Executive Director on the SIB Ltd Board in December 2019. Amina started her career in retail and commercial banking, structuring and deploying capital to the UK’s small business owners and leading transformational change programmes. She learnt the most about finance and its power over everyday lives when influencing policy working with U.K. and EU policy makers and regulators to stabilise and reform the banking sector. 

Recognised as a top 100 women in fintech globally, Amina set up and ran innovation accelerators for banks before going on to co-found her own platform in the US. Returning to London, Amina works with both corporate and start-up clients on their products and commercial operations.
