Kate Stewart

Kate joined SIB as Youth Investment Fund Director in January 2025 to lead the team and Fund in its next phase, ensuring YIF delivers maximum impact and benefits for young people.

Passionate about tackling social inequities, Kate brings extensive experience in leading large-scale grant making and impact-driven programmes across the UK.

Before joining SIB, Kate was Director of Programmes & Impact at the London Community Foundation, where she oversaw a diverse portfolio of corporate, private, trust, and public sector funding addressing issues such as Violence Against Women & Girls and the cost of living crisis.

She previously held senior roles at Power to Change, UK Community Foundations (Fair Share Trust), and the The National Lottery Community Fund, supporting communities and social enterprises through funding, capacity building, and innovative financing approaches.
