RRLF – dashboards applicants

The launch of the Resilience and Recovery Loan Fund (RRLF) provided SIB with an important opportunity to further embed data transparency across the pipeline of our funds and programmes.
The Resilience & Recovery Loan Fund (RRLF) is a £25m fund for social enterprises and charities that are improving people’s lives across the UK who are experiencing disruption to their normal business model as a result of COVID-19. It has been established to make an existing government scheme (the Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Scheme (CBILS - see below) more easily accessible to charities and social enterprises.
Data transparency for the Fund meant real-time, weekly social investment data: not only sharing which kinds of organisations are applying to RRLF, but also where they are and who leads them to ensure fairer direction of emergency funding.
We therefore published two online RRLF dashboards:

The RRLF Management Dashboard
This contains the current pipeline of RRLF, outlining the number of organisations at each stage of the process and number of approvals / rejections at investment committee.

The RRLF Profile Dashboard
This provides a broader look at what type of organisations are applying to the Fund. This covers region, country, legal structure, outcome area, beneficiaries, and the extent to which organisations are BAME or diversity-led. Both of these dashboards are hosted on the Resources section of our website, and links will be updated on a weekly basis.
Case Study: Autism Plus
Autism Plus received £360,000 (Loan) + £140,000 (Grant) from RRLF. The RRLF loan and grant has provided an essential safety net for Autism Plus following the uncertainty of Covid-19. Watch the video to hear more about their story, including details of their business model and how they engage with contracts to ensure greater quality and consistency for their service users.
