East London Impact Fund

What is the fund?

The East London Impact Fund is a finance and support programme intended to help charities and social enterprises deliver increased impact in disadvantaged communities in East London. The programme is funded entirely by Social Investment Business.

We've launched a co-design to help us develop this fund and are open for applications.

Who is it for? / Am I eligible?

Organisations that apply will have to be located or operating in at least one of the following London Boroughs:

  • Hackney
  • Tower Hamlets
  • Newham
  • Barking and Dagenham
  • Redbridge
  • Havering
  • Waltham Forest

We will prioritise organisations able to demonstrate impact in their community.

What can I apply for?

Initially we are looking to work with five organisations who can pitch for money, get support, and be ‘championed’ by us – that means we will help with introductions and profile-raising as part of the package of support. What we ask for in return is simply for us to learn first hand from working with you. The available money can be as a loan or, in some cases, a grant.

How do I apply?

The deadline for applications has now passed.

If you would like to provide input into the design of ELIF but would not like to submit a proposal to be championed, you can submit written suggestions by email to research@sibgroup.org.uk
