Future Camden Fund
What is it?
The Future Camden Fund is a blended grant and repayable finance fund to support the growth of businesses and social enterprises delivering social value in Camden. The programme is funded by Camden Council and is open to organisations based in or operating in the London Borough of Camden.
Who is it for?
The Fund is for start up businesses and social enterprises in Camden that are under 5 years old. The main aim of the fund is to support entrepreneurs from backgrounds that are often underserved from other sources of finance, including those from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic backgrounds, those with a disability, care leavers and female founders.
What is available?
At the start of the fund up to £150,000 of unrestricted grants are available. This will be followed with £400,000 which will be available in a mixture of funding including repayable grants.
You can apply for grants of £10,000 - £15,000.
Am I eligible?
The fund is open to business and social enterprises based in or operating in Camden that support:
- Growth and Job Creation
- Community Wealth Building
- Sustainability & the Environment
- Addressing under-representation
You must also be a start-up or early business established under 5 years and a trading business.
How do I apply?
If you would like to apply for a grant or loan through the Future Camden Fund you can apply directly on the Camden Council website. Applications are open from 24th January 2022 and close on the 29st January 2022.
